Today kinda sucks butt
Keeping things PG in the title since it shows up on the main page, but today has been a bit of a rollercoaster between sucking major fucking ass and being a giant relief.
Started out with me waking up at 6:15am cause I had a 8am Dynamics/Vibrations final today followed later by a 1pm Finite Element Analysis final. Things sucked at the beginning just cause both of those tests were quite hard. I went away, knowing that I passed the class, but also knowing that it was very unlikely I would pass the class with an A. They were both very difficult and am only sure I got a small portion of either 100% correct. Will be living off of partial credit most likely for the majority. But that’s fine. I passed and so that makes me happy. Was such a huge relief when I got out of my FEA test as that was the last real hard final I have to close out the toughest semester of my undergrad career (still have 1 more tomorrow at 8am, but that shouldn’t be too hard). Everything was fantastic after 3pm when I got out of the exam. Those classes were out of my hands at that point so there was no point in fretting over them. I just went straight from the exam to the bar with a bunch of my friends from class and we bought pitcher after pitcher.
Then the bad news comes that makes the day suck major ass again. I get a text from one of my roommates (the one that I share a bedroom with) saying that the xbox was gone…..my xbox. My other 2 roommates had also just recently moved out. I tried contacting them, but I only have the number of one of them and he wouldn’t answer his phone. At this point I can only suspect one of them or their friends. Though this wouldn’t exactly be the first time. Not that long ago one of their friends had taken my copy of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II. I brought it up with my roommate and he acknowledged that it was most likely his friends and he got it back for me that day. Just recently got finished talking to Northeastern University Police Department and filed a report so hopefully they can get in contact with either of them and find where my system is. I can’t say I have high hopes that it will be found, but nothing else I could really do at this point.
Fucking roommates. Tip: Never have them.

Ah, sorry to know this happens to one of the nicest guys around. The thought of strangers helping themselves to one’s belongings just pisses me off. How dare they think they have the right to just lift whatever strikes their fancy. I’ve had stuff stolen too, by drug addict friends of my brothers. some nice pieces of jewelery and money, while on vacation no less! Come home and it’s gone and they deny it and it made me more angry.
And yes, fucking roommates! Ah…my friend, you sure as hell did not deserve this, not one bit.

I finished my finals last week for Uni, and had much he same feeling as you did – I got an answer (albeit unlikely to be the correct answer) on all my questions but at least would get partial credit throughout. This week got my final class grades in – all B’s and one A. Not too shabby I guess, woulda liked to see more A’s though =/
Also had to help my brother move out of his dorms (first semester of his freshman year) and it turns out that his roommate managed to ‘lose’ 3 or 4 of our games and “has had enough of him fucking asking for them. He’s not going to fucking buy new ones or give us money for it”. So yeah, that’s approximately $150-200 down the drain and a grievance report to the school for theft.
Suffice it to say that I just finished going through a lot of what you did. Just relax now that finals are coming to a close and enjoy your holiday =D

Stuff like this makes me happy to never own a console.
Seriously, my games are all on Steam. They can’t take them away. Unless they want to take my whole computer system, which is just really fucking obvious.
But yes, roommates can be a major pain in the ass. I finished finals yesterday, and I’m probably looking at all A’s/B’s unless I really screwed up my Linear Algebra final, which might get me C.
Hope ya get your Xbox back though, and enjoy the break from school.

Neither of my ex roomies ever stole anything from me. I think it is very short sighted to steal something from you, as it is obvious it was him. Sorry to hear about the trouble….
