Well, it’s finally here. Easter !

Finally, last night, after various settings tinkering, resetting the modem and rewriting the firmware, found out my MTU setting was giving me the headache.

The MTU settings was at 1492, which is correct for a PPPOE line. But because of the blackout on Monday some wequipment might have gone haywire. This is what I’m betting on, cause I don’t really know what happened. All I know is that at 1400 it work (I think it’ll work at 1450 too).

Well, I get home and what do I find. There’s been a power-failure and the DNS server is somewhat down, thus I’m having internet problems T_T

I just hope that by tomorrow this will get better.

The other problem is that my Windows XP is stuck. I think it needs to be reinstalled T_T

The name I registered with on FTV was BAakaTheOne which stands for BA (initials from my name) aka (also known as) TheOne (self explanatory )

I got tired people calling me baka all the time, so I decided to change it, but TheOne was taken (in all shapes and sizes, so I was stuck).

In my wanderings around Teamspeak (FTV’s teamspeak server) I came about another member called julezia. While looking at her profile I couldn’t help notice the following line: “Sometimes a pony gets depressed.” I liked this line and kept on saying it on TS, thus getting me the nickname: Pony.

Also in Teamspeak, we have a channel called “The Village”. It is mainly a channel for people to goof off or role play, whatever you want. ^__^ (the description of the channel, extracted from teamspeak: Interactive Role-Playing Community…)
At first I was the village idiot, but slowly became the “Shadow Leader” (or the Leader from the Shadows) of ploumid and senpai-kun (forgot he’s nick on FTV lol XD lee just reminded me his name XD).

These two nicks brought me to my new nick: ShadowPony. And daft, the site admin, was kind enough to change my nick for me. He is a great guy (likes loli though……)
